The residents at our program are a close-knit bunch. We train for and run races together, hold book/journal clubs and enjoy yoga classes together. A group of talented residents got together last April and put on a production of the Vagina Monologues at a Cambridge theatre raising over $5,500 dollars for a local charity which was a smashing success. It’s not uncommon to spot the residents out together having a beer at the local establishments after a long day of work. Weekend nights out often involve dinners out in the South End, drinks in Back Bay and dancing downtown for the motivated residents! We find lots of reasons to celebrate including birthdays, baby showers, weddings and just the end of a block! More formal annual traditions include resident graduation at the Harvard Club and individual class dinners with the program directors. We consider the relationships among the residents to be one of the greatest strengths of the BWH-MGH experience.
