Thank you for your interest in the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital Integrated Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Applications are accepted through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) only. The requirements for our program can be found on the ERAS web site. For more information regarding the ERAS program, please refer to their web site at: https://www.aamc.org/students/medstudents/eras/.
Please submit at least three letters of recommendation. One letter should be the MSPE from the Dean of the medical school (or his/her designee), and it should describe the academic record, relative standing in the class, and performance on the clinical services. The selection process focuses on information supplied in the ERAS application, including scholastic accomplishments, transcripts, and letters of recommendation. Registration with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) is mandatory. The deadline for ERAS application is October 1; completed applications are considered and invitations to interview will be decided on a rolling basis beginning mid-September. Selected candidates will be invited to interview on Friday, November 20th, 2015 and Friday, December 4th, 2015. We interview candidates to fill 11 PGY1 positions per year.
Additional information for International Medical Graduates: We do not have a minimum score requirement for USMLE Step 1 and 2, and no time requirements for time between medical school graduation and residency. If you are a match to our program, we will be happy to sponsor all of your visa needs. US clinical experience is not a requirement, but always helpful.
